Dolphin Drilling is one of the longest established independent drilling contractors in the offshore arena tracing its roots back to the earliest offshore exploration activity in the North Sea in the mid nineteen sixties. Dolphin Drilling forms part of Fred Olsen Energy ASA which is part of the Fred Olsen Group which has a strong shipping history stretching over 160 years.

Dolphin Drilling is now entering an exciting phase of expansion and development with a new generation drillship and ultra-deep water/harsh environment semi-submersible under construction.
