The company is organized into two segments: the Industrial holdings segment, which comprises the company’s ownership interest in Aker Solutions, Kvaerner, Det norske oljeselskap, Ocean Yield, Aker BioMarine and Aker Seafoods, and the financial investment segment, which comprises cash, real estate, shares in funds and other financial assets of the company and holding companies.

Aker ASA also manages investment and hedge funds.
